Used cooking oil (UCO) is a biodegradable raw material derived from food industry byproducts. Used Cooking Oils (UCOs) are oils and fats that have been used for cooking or frying. Used cooking oils are commonly found in the food processing business, such as restaurants and fast food joints, as well as in homes. Used cooking oils can be vegetable oils such as maize oil, canola oil, olive oil, palm oil, and so on, as well as animal fats. The general guideline is that leftover cooking oil should not be reused too frequently.
