Cashew De-Oiled Cake

Cashew is made up of 32.5% nut and 67.5% shell. While the nut is edible, the shell is discarded by the cashew processing business. The shell is further processed to obtain cashew nut shell liquid, and the waste is occasionally utilized as fuel in brick kilns. This byproduct is known as cashew de-oiled cake or cashew DOC .

Cashew de-oiled Cake Applications:-

• It is a low-cost energy source that is widely utilised as a fuel in the tile, brick, cement, and other industries.
• This non-toxic substance can be used to treat soil.
• It is used in the production of Vermiculite.
