Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS)

Low sulphur heavy stock (LSHS) is a residual fuel made from local crude oil . The key advantage of using LSHS is its low sulphur concentration. The life of the equipment is extended since the extent of corrosion is greatly decreased at both high and low temperatures. Because it generates less sulphur dioxide, its low sulphur content provides it a benefi t in terms of environmental contamination.LSHS is a complicated hydrocarbon combination. It is brown to black in colour and has a diesel -like odour. It is a combustible liquid.
