Heavy rain and high humidity are the most common reasons fuel picks up water. With the monsoon behind us, now is a good time to inspect storage before demand picks up.

Signs of water in your fuel
Sputtering flames, burner trips, a cloudy sample, or sludge in filters can all point to water contamination. Left alone, water also encourages corrosion and microbial growth in the tank.
A post-monsoon storage inspection
- Check tank roofs, vents and manholes for leaks.
- Drain the tank bottom and keep a record of how much water comes out.
- Inspect and clean filters and strainers.
- Make sure bunds and drains around the tank are clear.
How we help at delivery
